We believe our salon can help make a difference.

Passionate about looking after our earth, we are a proud partner of Sustainable Salons Australia, a resource recovery program that gives back to the community through recycling salon waste into new products such as optical frames, and providing employment for people who may face barriers to workforce participation.

Our commitment to sustainability has included: a full lighting upgrade, water efficiency measures, and we have drastically reduced our waste through the recycling and repurposing of paper, metal, hard plastics, and even hair!

We care about our planet and how we use resources.

Our commitment to caring for the environment incorporates sustainable purchasing, and we use and stock brands of exceptional quality and with a strong environmentally-friendly ethos, such as Davines

Davines is a certified B-Corp company which means it has the stamp of approval that it meets the highest standards when it comes to social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose.  This is integral to building a more inclusive and sustainable economy.

Did you know that Davines packaging is made from food-grade plastic and can be washed and used to store snacks, or can have a second-life when repurposed as a tiny planter?

We support the use of renewable energy.

Our salon is powered by electricity from the GreenPower program, a government-managed program that supports renewable energy generation in Australia.

Energy providers in the Greenpower program are independently audited to ensure the energy fed into the grid meets the required targets and stringent environmental standards.

We are part of the fight to reduce single-use plastics.

Sudu Hair is over-the-moon to join with Boomerang Bags to provide fabric bags that can be returned to the program after use, and used over and over again.

Founded in Australia in 2013, Boomerang Bags is a grassroots movement that tackles plastic pollution one bag at a time, with the program now available worldwide.

With the bags made from fabric diverted from landfill, and volunteer sewing groups and social events connecting people, there is so much to love about this program.
